Riverside Renovation/Expansion
Ralph Wulz Riverside Tennis Center
In 2020, MCB contributed $403,000 towards the renovation of this premiere, centrally located public facility. Since 1975, MCB has saved 10% of it’s fundraising for this opportunity and in 2021, a ribbon cutting celebration was held with MCB in conjunction with the City of Wichita.
These improvements include custom awnings over stadium bleachers, competition bleachers and a windbreak system, paid for by the Greenway Alliance, to reduce the effect of Kansas winds on players.
Ralph Wulz Riverside Tennis Center (RWRTC) is located in the heart of Wichita, in Riverside Park, surrounded by the Arkansas River.
Serving Wichita for more than 11 years, RWRTC staff provide lessons and host junior and senior leagues on 13 outdoor/3 indoor tennis courts and 9 outdoor/6 indoor pickleball courts.
RWRTC is recognized for outstanding facilities and management by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA).
